Rihanna has inked a three-year deal to become the poster girl for her native Barbados.
The singer, who was born in the Bajan parish of Saint Michael, has been unveiled as the official Face of Barbados, and she headed to the beach on Thursday to shoot a sultry new advertisement for the Barbados Tourist Authority.
Her campaign will be launched in September ahead of the Caribbean country's winter tourist season, according to the Barbados Free Press.
Rihanna's new ambassador gig comes just days after she lost her endorsement deal with cosmetics company Nivea over concerns her ads were too sexy.
